LS Networks Powers the Medford Radiology Group

The LS Networks purpose-built data and broadband IP services network now powers the Medford Radiology Group, expanding rural patient access to expert radiology services. LS Networks created a custom-built network to meet the organization’s business needs and security requirements with speeds as fast as 10 gigabits per second.

“The high capacity and flexible network we designed increases their bandwidth and performance while offering faster transmission feeds and a larger network presence,” said Bryan Adams, Director of Sales and Marketing at LS Networks. “We are excited to expand our mission of providing a better quality of life for rural communities. Partnering with the Medford Radiology Group expands our mission footprint by allowing them to service more communities and healthcare providers through the state of Oregon.”

The Medford Radiology Group offers state-of-the-art radiological reports and consultation to referring physicians and patients across Southern Oregon. Their services extend to area hospitals and imaging centers in Medford, Ashland, Grants Pass, Bend and the Oregon Coast. From breast imaging to CT scans to MRIs and more, the organization transmits sensitive patient data within increasing file sizes. As an example, breast imaging has grown from about 250 megabyte to 3 gigabyte file sizes.
